Hunt Fish Maniac is a way of life. From our heli-fishing charters, to our merchandise, to our YouTube channel, we strive to share our outdoor passions with the world.
My name is Paul Marier, and I am a HUNT FISH MANIAC.
I fell in love with the outdoors at an early age. I grew up on the Detroit River, near Windsor, Ontario, and fished for anything and everything that would bite my hook. Bass, pike, wall-eye, catfish and perch - you name it.
As a kid, I followed my Dad and Uncle TJ around on their hunting trips. I was too young to carry a gun so I carried the rabbits and ducks. These fond memories are which shaped my enthusiasm and inspiration for the HUNT FISH MANIAC life I live today.
I now live on the West Coast of Canada, with access to the ocean, lakes, mountains and beyond, hunting for moose, elk, and deer. I fish for salmon, trout, halibut, and cod. I'm lucky to do the things that I dreamed about as a kid.
Living off the land is not just a saying, it's a way of life.
Conservation is very important to me. Conserving and protecting the outdoors is essential to ensuring that my children and generations to come will have the opportunities that I've had in my life.
I want HUNT FISH MANIAC to educate and inspire the new generation of outdoorsmen, as well as connect with other MANIACS like me. My YouTube channel will feature vlogs, tutorials, short films and other entertaining content.
I am also a country musician with a new EP out now, and you'll hear some of my music in HUNT FISH MANIAC content.
